I'm not a big fan of the A-side but a lot of people are and the song seems quite popular online. 'Boogaloo (Soul) Party' is one of those standard-issue late 60s soul numbers with a big nod toward Sam & Dave but the B-side is something entirely different. 'You Got It' is fine and mellow O'Donel Levy style guitar laid over a tight and funky backing track with an eminently sample-able intro. As is often the case, I don't know who these people are, where they came from, or where they ended up... so any info greatly appreciated.

Couldn't agree more. A long time favorite instrumental. I never found much info about them either. Oh well, they did make a great 7-inch.
