While this 45 is still fantastically hard to find, the song itself has gained some attention after it was featured on last year's "Eccentric Soul" compilation album. The recording was the result of local R&B name Allen Merry putting together a teenaged community center band in St Louis, MO, to "keep the kids off the streets". It features seasoned studio musicians enjoying a chance to go funky while backing up the band for a local TV show appearance. Originally released in 1968, the single has become a hardcore collectors' obscurity.
