Not exactly an obscurity being as the record sold more than a million in 1969 and the b-side inadvertently gave the world the infamous "Amen Break" - maybe the most sampled break ever. Inevitably, Winstons drummer and vocalist Gregory C. Coleman (September 1944 – September 2006) received only royalties for the original release and not the thousands of later tunes that 'borrowed' his break.
